A life dedicated to the Performing Arts. Encounter with the 1948 born dancer, choreographer and teacher of Modern Dance. The charismatic artist shares unsparing insights into her illustrious career that spans over seven decades and continues until this day, e.g. she performs "common ground[s]" with Germaine Acogny globally since 2021. In 2023, she was awarded the German Dance Prize (the most prestigious prize for dance in Germany) together with Josephine Ann Endicott, Lutz Förster and Dominique Mercy.

About
Malou Airaudo worked with many famous choreographers and companies of the 20th centuries: Pina Bausch, Operà de Marseille, Ballet Russes de Monte Carlo, Manuel Alum, Paul Sanasardo or Carolyn Carlson. She was a professor of Modern Dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen for 34 years and directed its Institute of Contemporary Dance for seven years.
This encounter was recorded during the Pandemic. It reveals an intimate insight into the uncompromising life of a passionate and dedicated artist who has always followed what life has offered to her. It has not always been easy, it required working very hard but she believes that loving what you do is very important.
