Kontext

Zomeracademie Destelheide ist ein Format der Erwachsenenbildung, bei dem 18 bis 70 Jährige (mit und ohne künstlerische Vorbildung) zusammen mit Künstler*innen kreativ arbeiten. Beim Intensiv Workshop wird jeden Tag von morgens bis abends kreativ miteinander gearbeitet, unter Anleitung professioneller Künstlerinnen und Künstler. Die Atmosphäre dieses sommerlichen Kreativortes ist magisch. Ergebnisse werden am letzten Tag in öffentlichen Showings geteilt.

All we need to play is dedication
to the rules we invent ourselves

Out of this dedication can come a movement
an action
an interaction
a script
a performance a trace
a new game

This workshop is not about
narratives,
not about what things mean,
not about how they are perceived.
If we can let go of that,
the task that we set for ourselves can turn into an experience.
