Ken Ludden about 284 steps

284 steps – documentation of the 284 steps of classical theatrical dancing with Ken Ludden. The intention of this project is to record and preserve the 284 steps for future generations. While video can never replace dance or teaching in reality, it can provide a tool. With that in mind, this project aims at creating a resource that says what these steps are, how they came about, why they came about, what they were first used for, how they changed over time. We create a knowledge base, that is one part of the tools for the learning. Recorded in Prescott, Arizona in January 2022 and in Zagreb, Croatia, in July 2022. Thank you Viktor Rubcovs Baldovin Ballet Zagreb Team Dancers and Pedagogues of Master Ballet Education International Summer Intensive 2022 International Ballet Competition Slavenska 2022 Team and Dancers Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb Team and the many more who help to do this work.
